New Covenant UMC

Like the rich man and his brothers, we know what Jesus calls us to and yet we struggle. We allow fear, anxiety, and a desire to fit in to guide us and then we become angry if anyone dares to question it. We are powerless to turn back the clock and so we struggle to conserve and focus solely on surviving…as people and as a church. What if God expects us to invest again? What if we acknowledge that from the beginning of our story as the people of God we have been called to look to the future with hope. There will be life again, growth again, transformation again, resurrection again; but we must be willing to invest, find our place in the community that we serve, find our place, and proclaim that we will indeed live!
