Serve the Community

We prepare and serve breakfast at the Austin Street Shelter quarterly in downtown Dallas in coordination with St. Stephen UMC. We serve an average of 400 adults and we also collect and donate clothing items often.

Ewing House is an AIDS residence that houses approximately 30-35 people. Each Sunday School Class alternates in making a homemade meal for the residents every 3rd Wednesday of the month. After serving the meal, NCUMC volunteers have an opportunity to shar in the meal and to visit with the residents.

Friendship quilt group that meets every 3rd Thursday of the month to assemble a quilt that will be donated.

Crocheting and knitting group that meets every Monday at 10:00 a.m. to create handmade items that will be donated to various shelters in the area.

We have several volunteers that help with the intake of items for Sharing Life, a local community outreach program.
