The season of Lent is upon us! Lent is the season on the Christian calendar that begins with Ash Wednesday. It is the forty days before Easter (excluding Sundays) when Christians in various denominations spend time in prayer and fasting as we contemplate the sacrifice of Jesus, reflect on our own mortality and draw closer to God in our daily lives.

As part of our Lenten journey this year we want to invite you to join us in observing a holy Lent by participating in all or some of the following worship opportunities at New Covenant UMC.

      Ash Wednesday Worship Service, March 5th – 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

      Palm Sunday Worship Service, April 13th – 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.

      Maundy Thursday Worship Service – April 17th – 6:00 p.m. in the sanctuary with Holy Communion.

      Good Friday Worship Service – April 18th – 12:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

      Easter Sunday Worship Service – April 20th – 9:30 a.m. in the sanctuary.
